Customize your profile, see statistics, manage notifications, set up your golf bag, set up your preferences, and connect with your friends.
Select "My Profile" from the main hub to access your profile.
Within "My Profile", you will find several functions and features, defined below:
Edit Profile: Change your profile picture, privacy settings, name, hcp, gender, home club, country, distance units, and distance to.
Add Friend: Select to find and add friends within LiveCaddie
Statistics: See your statistics, access "Train to Master" advanced statistics
Notification settings: Manage notifications, both your outbound notifications as well as incoming notifications from friends
Golf Bag: Customize your golf bag to your exact clubs and distances
Preferences: Customize app settings to suit your game
Friends: See your friends list. Share, like and comment on their profile. Follow their rounds.
Edit Profile
Make changes to your profile, and customize settings within the LiveCaddie app.
Change profile picture: Select the avatar to change your profile picture
PRIVACY: Show to: Set your default privacy setting, select from 3 options:
No One: You are not visible to anyone on the Tracker Map
Friends: You are only visible to your friends within LiveCaddie on the Tracker Map
Everyone: You are visible to everyone that visits the Tracker Map found on the course website
First/Last Name: Write your first and last name
Handicap: Enter your current handicap (as your handicap changes, update it here)
Gender: Set your gender to either "Male" or "Female"
Home (Primary) Club: Define your home course (optional)
Country: Choose your country of origin
Distance unit: Set distance measurements to Yards or Meters
Distance to: Choose to see the distance from your location to one of 4 choices:
Center of green: center of the green, independent of flag location
Flag else center of green: flag location, if no flag set shows distance to center of green
Flag else front of green: flag location, if no flag set show distance to front of green
Front of green: front of the green, independent of flag location
Add Friends
Select "Add Friend" to find and add friends within LiveCaddie.
Search by typing your friends name in the search bar, and then select "search"
In Sweden, users can type their friends Golf-ID, and select "search"
Statistics
See your statistics, and access "Train-to-Master" advanced statistics
Quick statistics are calculated automatically from all the rounds you have played.
18 holes: Your average score for an 18 hole round
Front 9: Your average score on the first 9 holes
Back 9: Your average score on the second 9 holes
Par 3: Your average score on Par 3 holes
Par 4: Your average score on Par 4 holes
Par 5: Your average score on Par 5 holes
Rounds played: Number of rounds you have played, Number of 18 hole rounds
Holes analyzed: Number of holes you have played in total across all rounds
Longest drive: The longest drive you have recorded using shot logging
Average drive: Average distance of all drives recorded using shot logging
Total putts: The total number of putts you have hit across all rounds
Average putts: The average number of putts you hit per hole
Scramble: Percentage that you succeed in scrambling (1 chip, 1 putt, par or better)
Sand Saves: Percentage that you succeed in sand saves (1 sand shot, 1 putt, par or better)
Fairways in Regulation: Left of fairway, In fairway, Right of fairway, by percentage
Greens in Regulation: Hit green in regulation, missed green in regulation, by percentage
Train-to-Master: Select to access the Train-to-Master advanced statistics system. Statistics generated in LiveCaddie are automatically uploaded within your Train-to-Master profile.
Notification Settings
Manage notifications, both your outbound notifications as well as incoming notifications from friends. Toggle on/off to make changes.
Golf Bag
The first time you access your golf bag, all clubs will be selected as "In Use". Additionally, default distances will exist based on your handicap and gender.
In Use: Toggle on/off for clubs currently in your bag
Club: Name of each club (select to customize)
Carry: Distance the ball will typically travel in the air (select to customize)
Roll %: Percent of the carry distance the ball will role
Total: Total distance the ball will travel, based on carry + roll% (select to customize)
To re-calculate default distance based on your handicap (or a different hcp), select "Show Preset". Either accept the value in the "Hcp" field (which is your handicap according to your profile), or enter a new handicap and select "Calculate". This will calculate default distances according to your Hcp and gender.
To manually customize distances for each club, simply select the field you wish to change, and enter a new value. You can either select the "Carry" distance or the "Total" distance, and the other value is then calculated automatically. (For example if you change the carry distance, the total will be updated automatically base on the roll %, and vice versa).
When you are finished making changes to your golf bag, select the back arrow in the top left corner of the screen.
Preferences
Utilize preferences to customize app settings to suit your game.
Points of Interest (POIs)
Make changes to how you see points of interest in guide mode while utilizing the LiveCaddie app.
Enable range filter: toggle on/off to enable a range filter. Instead of showing every POI on the hole, toggle on to only see POI's within a set distance from your location.
Start Range: POI's closer to your location than this set value will be hidden.
End Range: POI's farther away from your location than this set value will be hidden.
Miscellaneous
Make changes to miscellaneous preferences while utilizing the LiveCaddie app.
Low power GPS: Toggle on/off. If on, battery life will be extended, but you may experience slight delays in establishing GPS location when waking phone up from sleep
Highlight features: Toggle on/off. White outline visible around tees, fairways, greens and bunkers, making these areas easier to see when covered by trees or other vegetation.
Drag GPS with short press: Toggle on/off. Swaps the short press and drag functionality with what is normally measure mode. Allows you to more quickly manually adjust your location.
Friends
See your friends list. Share, like and comment on their profile. Follow their rounds.
